Question:Will this fit 3/4 inch slings as found on european rifles?

Answer:Not easily, if at all. I fitted mine to a Pedersoli double muzzle loading rifle that came with the 3/4 European swivels..........BUT I replaced those with 1" versions. Tongue on the Tourbon's is too wide and thick for the Eur's.

Question:the photo shows the sling expanding to 129cm which would be just over 50" - is this correct? thanks

Answer:I'm not sure exactly to what length it expands, but it is plenty long enough. This is a great sling and I will get another for my hunting rifle.

Question:Do the metal snaps/fasteners at the ends of the sling contact and mar the stock during normal use?

Answer:The small loops at the end of the strap slide over the brass buttons to prevent marring. Also, the buttons are located close enough to the swivel that you would have to intentionally push on the button to contact the wood.

Question:I assume that it adjusts longer than the stated 34.25 inches?

Answer:Yes ,this tourbon gun sling can be adjusted about 36"

Question:How wide is the sling at the point where it attaches to the swivel loops ? (3/4", 1", 1 1/2 " ?)

Answer:About 3/4"

There is a gun swivels, you can choose according to yourself

Simply pull the leather tab from the button, slip it through your swivel, press the leather tab back onto the button.
