Portable type high-accuracy SF6 gas leak hunting instrument is a new generation product for measuring gas leakage. It adopts imported sensor and has high sensitiveness. Its stability is good, speed of response is quick, operation is simple and convenient and displacement range is big. It also has prompt and accurate SF6 breaker, divulge point and annual leakage rate of GIS.

5 The operating steps:
(1) Turn on the mains switch of the instrument and the light “ ”will be bright.
(2) The crystal screen will shows :
After preheating, the instrument will enter the regular job and then enters the second screen. INIT will costs about 10 seconds.
(3) Then, on the second screen you will see as the following:
In the diagram the first line shows the current testing leakage value of the instrument and the measure value will renews
according to the time. When the instrument is working , if the leakage thickness is big , then there will be more guiding ligts of acousto-optic warning bright, if the leakage thickness exceeds the criterion value then the instrument will give out a certain frequent sound message. The second line shows the maximum value of air leakage during the testing.
Attention: When the instrument is INIT, please make sure there is no smoke fog and SF6 air in ambient air or be away from the check point. After 10 seconds, the instrument will enter the second screen.
(4) At this moment, it is ready for the next checking. Just press the button “check”, then it will erter the third screen and you will see as the following:
This time just take the portable near to the check point and moves slightly from right to left, then the measure value will change continuously according to the current envoirenment thickness. Five seconds later, it will show the maximum value and then enter the fourth screen as the following:
(5) Press the check button and the instrument will repeat the fourth step to check different divulge points until it meet the
needs.
(6) Put the mains switch of the instrument to the closing location and turn off the instrument. Then put the instrument and the detectors back to the box.
(7) Charge: When the instrument is working, if it gives out an alarm sound, that means it needs charging. You should use the charger.
The concrete step is that the met attachment plug of the charger should insert in the up-left attachment plug of the instrument and the two-core attachment plug -----another end of the charger should inserts in the exchanging 220V. Then the light will be bright, which means the instrument is charging and if it charge for 12 hours then the instrument can work for 24 hours. If the guiding light is bright , it means the instrument don’t need charging. When the instrument is charging, you can choose to turn on the switch or turn off it. Turning on can be understood as it is the exchange 220V to supply electricity and it means that the instrument is working as it is charging. But if turn off the switch, it will cost less time to charge.
6 Attention:
(1) Before turning on the instrument, the operator should read the operating instruction manual carefully first, carrying out
operation strictly according to the instrument starting up and the shut-down operation steps.
(2) It is not allow to put the detectors on the ground and the gun hole must not drink dust , water , oil and must not fall mean, in order to avoid affecting the instrument function.
(3) When exchange creation in the gas environment being measured for a long time in checking state or being in thickness
comparatively highly as if it be a detector, a "poisoning" aphenomenon may happen. The reason is when the detectors accumulate such air as SF6, which is no easy to break up, for a long time, it will be easy to be poisoned.
The symptoms are that it will show the measure value repeatly or it can’t show the maximum value and there will be dysfunction of the acousto-optic warning, or the guiding lights are always glittering. If the continues measurement is necessary, take the intermittence reserving detector as the replacement once is OK above one minute.
(4) The instrument must not be in work for a long time and intermittent measurement will be nice.
