In the field of mobile screen protector film cutting, the original product volume was too large and the weight was too heavy. This has always been a problem that perplexed the industry because it leads to increased transportation costs and to limited usage scenarios. Therefore, we were determined to develop a new product to open up new markets, by making the machine smaller, lighter, smaller, yet extremely versatile.
It is not difficult to shrink the product shape a little bit, but it is not a small challenge to shrink the original product by nearly 50% while ensuring high-quality performance. For engineers, changes of a few millimeters mean huge internal structural adjustments, requiring many trials and tests. We decided to meet this challenge. After a year and a half of R&D and hundreds of trials, we successfully reduced the size of the film cutting machine by nearly one half, and finally produce a model with a net weight of 4.4kg, a length of 420mm, a width of 183mm, and a height of 128mm. The Mini 8 is easy to carry and remains an excellent performing film cutting machine.
